Worship & Christian Education

Sundays

We have worship and Holy Communion each week at 10:00 a.m. The service has a comfortable blend of formal and informal elements.

On the FIRST Sundays of each month only, we also have an intimate early service with Holy Communion at 8:00 am.

Sunday School for children and Adult Forum are every Sunday from September through May at 9:00 am.

We offer nursery care for children under 4 years of age.

Thursday

The Thursday Bible study is located in the library of the Tabor (education) Building. Enter on 39th St near the half-circle driveway. The study begins at 6:30 am. (Don't worry -- there's coffee!)

The Thursday afternoon Bible study meets at the Tabor (education) building at 1:00pm.

Accessibility

There is handicapped access on the Charles Street side of the building by entering the Stieff Room. First English is a Reconciling in Christ congregation and is open to a diversity.

Calendar of Events

  • You can choose a specific calendar category by clicking on the small triangle in the upper right corner of the calendar.
  • If you already use Google Calendar (or wish to — it's free), click the plus ("+") sign in the lower right corner and you will be "subscribed" to this calendar.
  • If you use Apple iCal, MS Outlook, or any other application that uses standard iCalendar ".ics" format, you can subscribe to the FEELC calendar, too. In iCal, choose "Subscribe..." from the Calendar menu and then enter the URL:
    https://www.google.com/calendar/ical/feelc%40verizon.net/public/basic.ics
Change the "auto-refresh" setting from "no" to something reasonable, such as "Every day".
Don't download the basic.ics link above and double-click on it; that will give you a 'static' calendar that does not reflect updates.
